ARVID TATE
alias Jarmo Nieminen
born in 1956, in Hämeenlinna, Finland. He graduated in 1981 from the Forestry faculty of Helsinki University and has been living in Budapest since 1989.
Years 2013-2017 were full of hardship - worrying and sorrowing conquered the daily life. Finally close friends suggested: “ Start painting Jarmo ! Forget your sorrows and bring joy back into your life ”
Jarmo has always been keen in visual arts, actively collecting modern art and participating in several art projects. But he was never creating artwork with his own hands before December 2017.
Then some kind of a miracle happened. Painting became suddenly part of Jarmo’s life together with relaxation, happiness and positivity.

From the beginning Arvid Tate has been painting with acrylic colours on canvas and lately also on paper core. Arvid is painting for his own pleasure and relaxation, but also having exhibitions time to time.
